Remove the Front Bumper on an 8th Generation Honda Accord

Works For:
2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 Honda Accord Models

How To: Remove the Front Bumper on a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe

Things You’ll Need:
1. #2 Philips Screwdriver
2. Thin, Flathead Screwdriver
3. Nice big sleeping-bag or something to put under the front end of your car to prevent the bumper from contacting the ground
4. Someone to help you

Step 1: Front Bulkhead Cover
a. Use flathead to pop open the 7 clips and remove

Step 2: Remove the Bumper

a. Use flathead to pop open the 10 clips below the bumper and remove. There are more than 10 down there, but with a little investigating, it’s obvious which ones hold the bumper and which one’s don’t.
b. Unscrew the self-tapping screws in the wheel wells. (1 per wheel well)

What other available instructions don’t tell you is that there are 7 additional spots on each side of the top of the bumper that attach the bumper to the rest of the car. These will require a little patience and the flathead to unclip.

The outer most three (just outside the wheel well)

The inner four, below the headlight housing

**When you finally have the bumper loose, don’t forget to disconnect your fogs! (if applicable)
